I used large frag disc. Two high per leg.Anybody else suggestion on how to raise the unit by using existing legs? Wish we can get replacement legs that adjust.
Agreed and wish they made a 90 degree bend to get the unit as close as possible to down-pipe.I used large frag disc. Two high per leg.
you could probably get some plumbing pieces to make that, I am sure somebody has done it.Agreed and wish they made a 90 degree bend to get the unit as close as possible to down-pipe.
keep us posted how it works. can you list the parts you used?Going to give this a try. Cheap….won’t collect detritus.
I can get parts. Because one screws into the other, they have an inch of adjustability. But…. Still running a 130” daily average even with it up 2” higher than hanging on the sump glass. High enough that I get the occasional gurgle.keep us posted how it works. can you list the parts you used?
less flow will def use less material.I wonder if water flow into the Reefmat has anything to do with it? I have a large 500 g fowlr overstocked with large angels, triggers, I feed heavily too (auto feeders at 12 times a day pellets and nori daily). With nori, I average 45” daily. Without nori (because of a week on vacation) I’d avg 30” daily.
I use the legs and a jebao dcp2500 return pump (~700gph) so maybe not enough flow in my Reefmat 1200 to use up the roll faster than expected? Should last around 1.5 - 2 months at this pace (which is fine for me).
