ReefPit’s 40 gallon breeder.

It’s not pretty as all the mechanics are exposed, but it is an example of how to use HOB systems to incorporate nutrient export. The Aquaclear 110s provide significant reservoirs to contain reactors, UV, etc.

Additional Equipment Detail
I have had trouble with BRs large reactor with GFO, changing a bag of 2 Tbs of high capacity gfo once a week seems to handle Phosphate just fine. I give it a shake once a day and it doesn’t solidify. I keep it in my Aquaclear 110 and it works well. Don’t put bags in proximity to UV, they degrade!
