Hi guys and gals,
My wife and I are planning a relocation to the Nashville area in the next 6-8 months, maybe sooner.
I currently have a 150 gallon mixed reef and will be bringing it with me. My plan is to hire one of the LFS locally to assist in prepping, packaging and loading the set up.
I have a full-sized pick up truck(8foot bed) and will rent a closed box trailer from U-Haul for the move.
The tank has approximately 200 pounds of live rock and is packed with softies, zooanthids, LPS, a 9" Derasa clam, SPS and 14 fish and numerous clean up crew. May be a few other things. Tank is a 6 foot 150 gallon with wood stand and canopy. Stand houses sump, UPS battery back up, dosing pumps, and the ATO reservoir.
I will have the LFS help me dismantle the tank starting in the evening and load everything. Plan on leaving bright and early and driving straight through.
Once I get to Nashville I will need to locate at least one, preferably two, containers to house the live stuff until I get the tank set up. I am hoping to find someone that would allow me to use/rent/borrow a couple of water troughs. May even consider getting a couple "kiddie pools" for this. I would also like to find someone or an LFS that delivers saltwater so that I can have fresh saltwater when I get there.
I will also need to find someone to help unload and reset the tank. Maybe fellow enthusiasts? Or an LFS or service company.
If anyone knows a service or LFS that provides this type of service, please let me know. I am trying to figure everything out and plan ahead so that there are not any problems getting by baby moved.

Thanks and I look forward to getting to know the club members.
Kevin

Welcome! For local fish stores we have Aquatic Critter (https://www.facebook.com/Aquatic-Critter-147697488626051/), Emerald Bay (https://www.facebook.com/ebayfish/), and Murfreesboro Aquatics (https://www.facebook.com/BoroAquatics/) that I've worked with in the past. From a services stand point. I had a great experience talking with Aquarium Nerds https://www.facebook.com/aquariumnerds/

Jasonamyers is correct on the listing of the terrific business that we have in the area. I love all three places and friends with the people at all three places but Aquatic-Critter is the one I would have to recommend first out of the three bc of the factors you need. They are capable of the large amounts of saltwater..they do have water carry containers (5 gallon each) on hand that youjust put a deposit on and return afterwards. They do have staff that helps with setting up tanks. If they are unable to help they will be more then happy to guide you into the right direction.

Also, and anyone please correct me if I am wrong, there is Mr Saltwater at www.mrsaltwatertank.com ...
