Went down to check on my tank and it seems that the largest of my 2 Firefish is missing. It seemed kind of skittish around the Foxface even though I didn't see any aggression from him. I hope he's just hiding somewhere.

Sad day! I just found him on the ground beside the stand. I guess I will need to get smaller screen.

I've heard that unless it's a HUGE tank the firefish will dwindle to 1 of they're same gender or not a pair. No experience, I haven't had any but that's what I have read, I plan on getting 1 soon for my tank

Yeah, they were supposed to be a mated pair. There was no aggression between the two Firefish, that doesn't mean that there eventually wouldn't be. If I had it to do over again, I would only get one. The one that jumped was nervous around the new fish I just added, I actually saw him jump and hit the screen yesterday, sadly he made it through today.

Thanks! I will really miss him, I love my firefish. Ordering 1/8" clear screen from BRS this weekend during the group buy! I don't want to lose the other one, but it doesn't seem to be bothered by having new fish in the tank, where the jumper was definitely skittish. I also want to make sure that my new wrasse won't be able to escape when I get them in the tank!

So for Valentines day, I bought my husband flowers and planted them for him . He bought me a new coral (he picked it out) - Pulsing Xenia, I'm going to mount it on the glass like I did with the GSP.

The LED's were ramping down and I thought the color was kinda cool!

Thanks Doug, it was a sad loss. I am pretty excited about the new coral though, hopefully I can find the perfect spot for everything and they will bring color to my tank!
