How can I get some of these corals? @Renton777

People can feel free to message me if they see a coral that they would like buy a frag of. I do ship. However, I see that you are in Canada and I don't think I can ship to Canada :(

Good to know, but ya I didn't think I would be able to get any from you, especially being in Canada

I had a few aptasias make it from my old system into the new frag tank (There is a aptasia eating file fish in the display tank the makes sure none survive in there:) ).

Over the weekend manually moved a couple, but the problematic ones were on this clam shell. So, I mixed up some Kalk paste, took the clam out, smothered the aptasia in the kalk paste for about 10 mins while keeping the clam in a small container of water. Then I scrubbed the area and rinsed it. Good as new!

Nathan, how huh above your tank are your lights? How tall is your stand?
Here is my fixture but on a smaller scale for 2 Orpheks before paint. My ceiling is about 8ft and I really like the sleek look of how yours sits so close to the ceiling but I don’t know if I can do that without having a tall stand.

Hey Renton, with your lights up so high, what kind of par are you getting in your tank? Looking at buying 5 orpheks for my tank but want to make sure I’m getting what I want.

I was getting close to 700 par at about 1" below the surface of the water, around 550 at the top of the rocks and around 250 on the sand bed with the lights at 100%. I dialed them back some but have not measured again.

Pretty happy with just about everything other then the cyano. I have really low nitrates, pretty much undetectable. Feeding more, removing the filter socks and turning the skimmer way down to help bring nutrients up a bit.
