I don't have experience with that specific vinyl background but I did order up the BlueLife background and it was basically a glossy vinyl decal that I applied to the back of the aquarium like any other decal. Looks sharp but I will say to make sure you spend lots of time preparing the glass and making sure all the dust and lint is off before applying the film. I had a few specks of lint that left micro bubbles on the film. I just popped them with the point of a razor blade and rubbed out the bubble as best as possible. Still looks sharp!
