Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if a ReptiTemp heater controller like this would work as a heater controller for aquariums? Has anyone else used one before?

I dont want to part with it if it can be used. I dont really see a reason why it wouldnt?

I dont think the one I have has been used much if at all.

I would be concerned as the temp probe isn't meant to be submerged in saltwater.

Only concern I can think of is whether the temp probe can be placed in water
Yeah hmm the saltwater part is only concern I have its meant for high humidity but not sure guys its basically new so was wondering

I would stick with an inkbird.

I might do a test and run it in a bucket of salt with no fish to see how the probe reacts and even if the temp stays correct
