Hey friends, I have two good ecotech battery backups but don’t use any ecotech pumps. I don’t have any of the wiring.

I was wondering if anyone has experience repurposing these for different pumps. I know you can replace the batteries. Can I take them out and buy a controller for them to use on my MaxSpec Gyre or return pump?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. I’d prefer not to sell them if I can still use them.

As long as any device uses the same voltage the Ecotech batteries provide they should work. Current draw will likely be different so you'll see different run times when you did with the Ecotech pumps.
