I’m wondering if anyone has somewhere to get a custom lid for the fluval evo 13.5g, or if anyone who 3D prints or DIYs would be willing to make me one. I need a mesh lid but with the frame not covering the rear 3.5"
My in-tank skimmer required me to saw off a 3.5" by 3.5" hole in the rear corner on the opposite side from the sump, as seen in the pictures. When I start adding corals I’ll need the lid to have light going through it, and as of right now I need to have a cooling fan blowing on the surface of the water as my temp is rising from the skimmer pump.

I like to give this lid as an option because it's been so great for me and my Evo. It's not mesh, but it is ultra clear with numerous breathing holes cut out, and I was able to submit a custom request at no additional charge for cutouts for lights, and no rear chamber portion - which I covered later with 3d printed pieces instead. It's poly-carbonate instead of acrylic, so there's no bending or warping. It makes for a really clean looking lid combination.

This lid also came standard with fittings for the stock light, which I continued to use with this lid for quite a while before I upgraded. That was a serious bonus for me personally.

Oh Thats @WalterLidz
he’s great! I plug him all the time. I just got a replacement panel for my 75g yesterday. Needed to have a hole for an auto feeder. Excellent work
I like the holes better than mesh. Nothing to wear out or stretch or break

Heck yeah that looks great! I love this lid myself, and it helps to cut down on evaporation which I definitely appreciate. I couldn't say enough good things about how efficient and sleek it is.

Evap reduction was a primary factor for me also! And it looks great with the laser cut accents

Couldn’t complain about the price either!

That right panel was $45 and no charges for customizations

You'd have to get in touch with someone who does custom work. I have no idea what it might cost, but the individual on etsy that I linked does some custom work. I provided a mockup of what I wanted added/changed to his existing design, so I'm not sure what he might require for something entirely custom. Definitely make sure it's not acrylic though, or that it's -thick- or laminated layers of acrylic so it doesn't warp.
