I think the algae/pest/parasite ID help threads should require, with no exceptions, the OP to include quality photos of whatever it is they need help identifying.

A clear picture always gets a faster ID. And an accurate one.

A clear picture always gets a faster ID. And an accurate one.

Aside from the quality requirement, just starting with mandatory photos, as opposed to an ambiguous description of what they're looking at, is a great place to start.

There's no way for the software to force a picture to be included with the first post that I'm aware of.

I was thinking more of a sticky post that gave guidelines on how to ask for ID help.
