The return pump for my aquarium is plugged into an eb832. I had the eb832 plugged into an ecoflow river 2 as a battery back up. I have the line if Power Apex Off 000 Then OFF for my skimmer, heaters, and lights so those items turn off in the event of a power outage.

However, now that it's getting colder, my second heater is kicking on and when it does, I think it's drawing too much power through the ecoflow and the ecoflow turns off the AC port and the whole eb832 shuts down.

How can I put my return pump on a battery backup but still utilize the feed functions in apex fusion without having to unplug the pump from the battery back up every time?

Not sure this is possible. I suggest the Neptune forum and search the question. Worst case, reach out to Neptune directly. Their customer service is second to none

Would a relay be useful in a situation like this? Just plug the heaters into the relay?
