Hello everyone. After about 6 years away from saltwater im building a new tank. My new setup will be a 120 with a eshopps eclipse overflow and a custom 40 breeder sump. My current main question is reguardling the bumpers on the tank, the gray ones on top, they are soft rubber, not hard plastic, i was told by the previous owner they are dress pieces and could be safely removed, and the more i look at them the more i feel thats what id like to do. The tank is eurobraced and has extra bracing in the corners. Im not sure of the make but does it look familiar to anyone and is removing these for sure safe? Thank you very much.

Looks like the plastic pieces are all separate, is this the case? If so it is likely safe to remove them, however if you can it would be a good idea to check with the manufacturer. I almost split a tank by removing a plastic brace.
