I would install second membrane which will cut some waste water( just watch out for pressure, get booster pump if low). The waste go to Koi pond or freshwater fish tank. The water from the pond will go to the plant if it is full or waterchange time.
sometime I make big water, I used some for washing machine.

I run my waste water to 2 55 gallon drums. I run some of that water through a second time via gravity feed and a booster pump. When running the waste through the RO I drain the waste from that to a tree in the front yard.
I also have a spigot plumbed to the drums to use it for things like washing filter socks and watering the yard by hand when needed.
I bought a few plumbing parts to hook my waste storage tanks up to fill a toilet, but never actually did it.

Dual membranes are not water savers. They give you more gpd provided you have at least 65 psi to operate it.

I just run my waste water into the sump hole in my basement, have a well so I just let the water run back into the water table to be filtered by the ground and pumped back into my house to be used again.

I am also interested in utilizing my RO waste water.

My RO unit is pressurized using a booster pump at about 80 psi. It is located in my garage next to my mixing station. Outside we have a 10 ft x 2 ft raised bed adjacent to my mixing station sink drain. I was going to lay a drip matrix for the raised bed and directly plumb in from the waste line.

Does anyone already do this ?

My concerns are the water quality for the veggies and plants and the effects of back pressure on the waste line.

Can anybody help here, all advice or experience is appreciated!

Never plumb anything directly to the waste line! Run the waste to a poly drum or tank of some sort you can elevate and let it gravity feed the drip lines. Always provide an air gap between the waste line and whatever you are filling.

Tap water is @ 195 tds

I'm gonna go out on a whim and say it's fine for the veggies!

I've been researching getting a RO/DI unit and recently saw a vid on YouTube where the guy had the waste water going into his washing machine and he said he washed his towels in the waste water.
I'm thinking of plumbing mine into my laundry room for this very reason.
i saw the washing machine thread and started doing it it works great!
