I've been dumping saltwater water down the drain for many years on septic. I never understood the concern. Only the solid waste is stored in the septic tank and all liquid goes out to a leech bed or my case two 2600 square foot sand filters and ends up in a creek and eventually lake Erie. I just had my septic cleaned last year for the first time in 29 years and the only thing wrong was the heavy crust on top because I waited so long and it made the job a pita for the guy pumping it.

Well not really chased.

They come waddling around a corner in single file "come on follow me guys... this way we're free!!" and then they see you. "Wooahh, everyone UTURN UTURN UTURN! Every one stay in single file! there is a human in our way, follow me to the next hall". More like being a traffic cone or "road closed" sign. Around and around they went as the hallways got shorter due to the human traffic cones moving closer. Keeper show up with the bucket of food and "forget the escape guys! Follow me FOOD FOOD FOOD"

Don't use water from a water change (from the tank) - for plants. It's ok to let a couple gallons of water go down the drain. If you're concerned about the environment - decrease your shower time and hot water heat. This is not sarcastic - but rather - realistic. Cleaning (filtering) the wastewater and re-adding it doesn't make economic sense. Just like many efforts to save something the saving costs more than the making new

Was a joke the kidneys filter waste from the blood. Sulfur reactor filters nitrates which are the waste of the nitrogen cycle from the water.

Oh I wondered what that was . Why would I donate that to someone ? So I will get you to explain sooner or later. So what is a Sulphur Reactor physically look like ? Picture if you will take the time for a lowly newbie

You could use it to grow salt-loving (halophilic) plants like mangroves.

You could use it to create a barren area in your yard (it'll even kill trees)

You could ozonate it to an ORP of about 800 mV and reuse it, but I don't recommend that. Ozone is not a friendly chemical. Also, it won't remove any nitrate or phosphate. Or replenish missing ions.

Kinda like feeling good driving an EV. Most will never drive it long enough to offset the carbon footprint of the manufacturing process.

We never had problems with fires on ours tho I hear some do. $10k not including labor for a new battery was a tough sell lol.

We never had problems with fires on ours tho I hear some do. $10k not including labor for a new battery was a tough sell lol.

I went past one on fire on the highway . I thought someone had died . The firefighters cover them with a blanket , and let them burn out . Then lift them into a dumpster. I can imagine how the Insurance companies like paying for the car , as well as the road repair . My mechanic brother in law has nothing nice to say about them . I know nothing

I have never had the desire to automate my tank . Until now . That is a tough one to ignore . I wish I could see one in action . I have heard some members having their ato valves screwing up and causing floods . Is there a way to prevent that. I am really tempted to bite the bullet on this

I was an EV tech and drove them for a while mostly to familiarize myself with them so I would have a better idea what was normal characteristics and what wasn't when people had complaints. As far as fuel savings it was nice because I had 90 mile daily commute but never had to charge at home because work had chargers I could use. I ditched them when I found out I could pull 42 mpg on a midsized Altima that was more comfortable and no range anxiety. It also allowed me to take trips I never could with an EV.
