Thanks everyone! So happy with my reef so far. It's been about 3 months and I've yet to get any algae except some diatoms.
It's so much more enjoyable every time you set up a new build. The increases in knowledge we have gained starts paying off for sure.

Attention all vendors.... I will be starting a forum called Reef2Reef2.0. We will have 1 member at start up. How many do I need to get before I can get one of those sweet apex boards and frag racks? Haha

@revhtree I have the same 65 gallon water tanks as you. When I filled them up the bulged a lot so I ended up putting a wood frame around them to hold them square. How do you find that they work for you freestanding? I am redoing my water change area and would prefer freestanding if that way works well.

Hi
I have 200 gal in wall basement sump in separate fish room
I used 2 vectra L1 for returns on check valves . Love this set up 10 x tank turn over. Plumbed with 1-1/2" spa flex pvc. That downsizes to 2-1" outputs on each end

Thanks everyone! So happy with my reef so far. It's been about 3 months and I've yet to get any algae except some diatoms.

Keep up the good work because I have had every algae known...cyano, diatoms, hair algae and it sucks. I think we started around the same time, I'm currently a little over 4 months.

Are you growing any coralline algae yet?
