Rich - New from the Lou

Hello Rich and Welcome to R2R! a 120 gallon reef will look great and remember to take your time and don't rush. The tank needs to advance from one stage to the next on its own time. I placed some corals in too early and they died. That made me learn to slow down.

Good evening, all. My name is Rich and I am from St. Louis. I am just getting started on this obsession I never knew I needed. My goal is to build my way up to a 120 gallon reef over the next couple of years. I have been enjoying the great vibe on this site and am looking forward to being part of the community. I would love any info on groups and events in the St. Louis area as well as any recommendations on local suppliers. Glad to be here!
Sounds like a good plan!

Hey Rich,

St. Louis area hobbyist here and stores in the area from what I've seen have gotten a bit lean with corals etc. I recently just loaded up at a frag show in South County a couple of weeks ago and frankly unsure when the next one is, but my suggestion is get the tank up and running as it needs quite a few months before introducing most corals. I've bought quite a few corals through Market > Livestock Selling on here and have been quite happy btw.

Great to know. I appreciate the vote of confidence in buying livestock here. So much to learn!
