Thanks. I picked up 100 lbs of Pukani and a 100 lbs of Fiji both dry from BRS. When I ordered I asked for extra large pieces and BRS did a good job of picking out big pieces for me. The pukani looks cool but I wonder if all the holes will just be a detritus trap.
Now I wish I had a faster RO this is taking forever...

Looking great! I wish I could go this big with my next tank!
Thanks I have been waiting 20 years to do one this big, had to wait for the kids to
grow up and move out, thats like getting a big raise. Oh it helps when the little woman helps pay for it too. The tank itself was myfirst year anniversary present, how cool is that! She is very supportive of my hobby and while still new to it is very enthusiastic

Rick you can borrow mine if ya want... My storage tanks are full so I'm good for a week if ya need it.... Lmk it gives about 80gal per day...

Thanks for the offer, I just need a little patience. I have waited so long whats a few more days. I remember when we had the store we used to have a commercial DI tank. It was the size of a large oxegen tank and could process a lot. Thought about getting it but I have plenty to do to keep me busy.

Very nice!! What are you doing about hiding the lights?

Eventually it will have a skin and will probably do some type of auto lift system. The skin will probably match the skin I do on the base. Definaltey have to do something as my house glows blue right now. Even the backyard wall glows at night lol. When building the frame I kept in mind the fact that I would have to add a skin so the frame will support whatever I choose. I am partial to red oak but we will see when the time comes.

Water is halfway. Moved live rock over and started running gfo and carbon to get a jump on nutrients. Can't finish aquascaping until more water is added but here of some pictures.
