Ricordea florida behavior

I have a green ricordea that seems to quadruple in size when the lights come on.
Is that normal behavior to expand that much?
It only seems to have one mouth as well.

Yeah that looks like a hairy shroom. It not uncommon for shrooms and rics to expand from the size of a dime to the size of the palm of your hand.

If you do in fact have a hairy shroom they can get the size of a medium plate depending on their light source.
