I have a BRS 7 stage RO/DI unit. It has been upgraded to produce 150GPD with the BRS upgrade kit. I have it so it feeds RO water to a water tank for drinking and tee'd off to also go to the DI section for my ATO/Change bin setup. I have added a permeate try to get more pressure through the system for the 150 GDP to work more efficiently. I also have an auto flush flow restrictor on the unit.
When the unit starts making water for the drinking tank, I can hear the flush valve click on and off with every cycle of the permeate pump. When I am making tank water, it seems that the auto flush works correctly, but I don't hear the permeate pump working as often as it does when making the drinking water.
I am not using an auto shut off valve.
Is it wrong ti use a permeate pump with an auto flush flow restrictor?
Thanks for looking and helping if possible..
