RO/DI Filter Change Question

Hey everyone, this will be the first time changing my RO/DI filters from BRS. Long overdue i know. The question is should i run the water through for about 10 min before i actually use the water or am i able to use it right away? Thanks

I think it's pretty common to run it through first....I run about 5g through which equals a cpl hours
