RO System

I've plugged in my RO system but get no wastewater and the pressure of the RO water is very strong. Obviously, something is wrong. Any ideas?

My unit is much like this without the storage tank

Maybe resin cart full or a valve not turned the proper way?

If your ro has a flush valve it may be open and that’s what causes my ro to do what you described
