I caught my rfa after lights out with a hermit in its clutches. I also could have sworn about a month ago that he had my blenny. Am I crazy or do the snatch and eat stuff? I feed him at least 2x a week frozen mysis. He is pretty big a bit bigger around then a coffee cup. Thoughts?

Nature is metal, nothing dies of old age in the ocean.
Beauty, he is still hungry.

RFAs are not hosting anemones and will eat any fish it can catch. They are beautiful though. I have around 5 rockflowers LOL

Oh crap. I was afraid of this. Thanks all.

One of mine tried to eat a hermit. After watching the hermit try to escape for a few hours, I tried to pry it free. The hermit was fine, but I think I must have accidentally torn the nem in the process as the next day the nem turned to mush :(

I’ve seen crabs and snails crawl near other RFAs since then and the RFAs have curled up/away to avoid the crab/snail. I keep them well fed so thinking maybe it may depend on how hungry they are. The one that went for the crab was a new one that likely hadn’t been fed in ages.
