Rodi 5 stage vs 6 stage?

Half the things I read/watch say that a 6 stage is going to be much higher quality especially concerning chloramines, the other half say the only real difference is a 6 stage is more convenient. Im at a loss, which is it? Or is it not so cut and dry?

Simply put, as the di resin is used up it will start to allow some tds through. The second di canister makes sure nothing gets through. When your first canister is showing 1tds getting through, I put the second one in it's place and put the new di resin in the second position
