Is anyone aware of a meter which I can connect to my 5 stage RODI system to keep track of the number of gallons my system produces?

I feel as though my media exhausted rather quickly (only 9 months out of my last set of media) and want to track RODI water production.

Hmm, I think the best way would be to track estimated output (i.e. if you fill a 40g brute container, track each time but don't forget to multiply it by the rejection rate). So if your unit generates at a 3:1 ration (Waste to RODI), make sure you are tracking both. That means if you made 10g of RODI, then you have likely run 30g of water through your system. Some systems are 2:1 and some are 4:1 so make sure you know which.

Also, these are always estimates. Your water may be high in something that is exhausting your filters more quickly. Sometimes you can do something about it, other times you can't.

I'd be interested to hear if there is a flow meter, but how cost effective it would be, I dunno.

Hm digital makes one. It came on a used system I purchased. When mine was working it was awesome. Counts gallons and you can set it up to help you remember to change filters per weeks maybe.

Found that one on Amazon for 128 but that seems really steep.
Here's a link for another one that only measures volume of flow.

This should point you in the right direction.

What is important to me is to determine how many gallons of water are being put through the system overall. So something that installs between the water supply and the RODI is what I am looking for.

Yeah... this monitors flow rate. I'm interested in something that functions like an odometer on a car, tracking total gallons.

Put an Elapsed Time, Timer on it. I built this several years ago to show operations was circumventing HVAC energy management systems. Counter is by Readington M/n 3410-0070. Hours X GPH or Gallons per Six Minutes. Just wire the pick up into your pump pressure switch.
