Hi all when setting up an RODI system does the membrane have to be fitted after flushing out to get a decent pressure?

You should flush each cartridge seperately for a few minutes with nothing downstream, starting with the prefilter and ending with the DI.

Size your flow restrictor on the waste line accordingly for 4:1 or less.

If you have less than 40psi coming from the tap, you need to run a booster pump.

If its a used system I would do a rejection calculation on the membrane after all this.

Recommend starting the rinse up of new filters with the first carbon block. Poly melt blown sediment filters do not require a rinse on first use.
