I have installed one of those float ball auto shut off for my RODI in the Brute trash can/reservoir and when it shut off, the RODI system must have backed up the pressure still coming through the faucet and started leaking all over. It's fine again when the float valve calls for water again or if you shut the water supply. Has anyone come across this problem?

Are you saying
the float is not telling the ball valve to shut off?
the valve is not closing completely?

It is closing and it is stopping the flow into my container. The problem is when it does stop I must be getting a back pressure from the spigot and the system is leaking somewhere at the filters. I need to shut the water supply or lower the float for it to stop.

Maybe one of my filters is not completely tight or something. I'll have to diagnose a little closer.

The filter canisters should be good for around 100 psi. Unless you are using a booster pump your house should not be anywhere near that much pressure. Use some silicone lube on your canister gaskets.
