RODI question

Ok so I decided that it was time to change my filters sediment,carbon and di resin because i was running a higher than i like tds out 25ppm.So with all new filters in play I crank up the rodi filter 0 tds made fourty gallons but the following week the output tds went up to 1ppm so i decided to test my 'in" and "out" of my ro membrane the incoming water is 127ppm and leaving the membrane is 15ppm is this normal or will this burn up my DI resin?

Most membranes are rated at 96-98% rejection rate.


Membrane Output should be 2-4% or less of what's going in. Then the DI drops it to 0

So 127 TDS going in membrane should be 5 or less out. Then DI drops it to 0.

Try a Spectrapure, SpectraSelect treated and hand tested RO membrane with a written guarantee it will be better than 98% rejection. Only like $45 plus another $5 for a matched capillary tube flow restrictor, you will pay that much for a dry untested and non guaranteed membrane elsewhere and it will not perform as well. This is important since for every 2% you can increase the membranes efficiency you DOUBLE the life of your DI resin. You are only 88% rejection right now, imagine how long DI resin will last with 98 or 99% rejection!


My tap water TDS is around 630 and my RO only TDS is between 2 and 3 always.
