So I got a great deal on a SpectraPure MaxPure90 RODI system. The only place I can put it in my two bedroom condo is under one of the sinks. VR28woman wants a water purifier, so I was planning to get one of their 4-ish gallon, under the sink, drinking water attachments and attach it to the RO system. (my dishwasher is on the other wide of this cabinet wall so I'll have to put it on the other side of this space)

So I get it, but then I find it fits like this. :( Do you all think there's any way this will work? Or should I have to put this back on the "for sale" forum and get a smaller RODI?

That’s fine. Same way I have mine setup

Thanks! Would you mind sharing a pic? I assume it's just the RODI on a set of sufficiently high screws, but seeing it would definitely make it easier to sink into my mind..... :D

I think I *should* have space for a container on the other wide of this sink. (good point, though, @KrisReef !). Looked at @SpectraPureInc 's and found that it's 10.8" in diameter, so I should be good to go.

Is there a laundry closet? No Tap for Your lady but perhaps a container with a tap in the fridge. Just fill it when required Stick it back in the fridge.
Reason I say this is the space you have under the sink is small. Making it difficult to change out cartridges in the future.
Remember you need to flush carbon & sediment filters before going onto the Ro membrane . Wheres that flush water & waste water going to go?

good point, but they could remove the system for changing filters, then reinstall under the sink
would just need a longer input line, for temporary use. and making sure a drain is available.

Thanks for all the posts and replies! I've talked about this and thought about this a decent amount.

We do have a laundry closet, but that RODI unit won't come anywhere close to fitting. And the Mrs. nixed the idea of the MaxPures under the sink anyway.

At least for now- we will redo the kitchen this summer and then I'll see again. Maybe I'll move this RODI under the sink, but I doubt it and will probably put it for sale. I may try a smaller RODI unit then, either under the sink or in the laundry room.

What do people think? Laundry closet or under the sink?

To please the governor, you want the aquatic life RO buddy. Then put DI cans were they fit.
I have one of these. Production was slowwwwww and the cartridges are very small, so they spend quickly.

I also recommend getting a permeate pump to help fill the pressure tank.

Edit: I did upgrade to the BRS 4 stage and it's a world of difference
