Hey doesn't anyone live in a condo that has a rodi unit? I'm limited in space n was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good set up for one. Buying rodi water is getting old quick. Thanks

I have the brs 4 stage rodi. I have a tiny kitchen where I put the unit.

Any RO/DI can be used portable the put away in a closet or out of the way place when not in use. As long as you keep water in the housings so the membrane and DI don't dry out and use it every 10-14 days its not an issue. I would recommend the $129 unit from www.spectrapure.com , no other vendor comes close for value and performance, none. They are the only vendor to excusively use absolute rated sediment filters, specially treat and either batch or individually test ALL their RO membranes and to custom blend all the DI resins in house based on ten of thousands of hours of testing. It all adds up to a cost savings for the end user since everything lasts longer and works better.

Thanks for the pics. Yeah I'm limited with space on the sinks. Just need a unit where I can pull out make the water n fill some 5 gallon jugs with. I wish I can leave it set up but there's so much stuff under both my sinks.

Thanks. Are the refurbished ones good to buy? And can u tell me a little how u would make it portable. Is there a adapter etc.....thanks for the help guys much appreciated.

Yes they are an excellent system. They are in all ways a new system except may have a scratch or scuff somewhere that is cosmetic but does not affect the performance. They come with a garden hose thread adapter which will screw directly on a hose bib and you can get a faucet adapter that screws on a kitchen or bathroom faucet from them or any hardware store for around $12-$15. If you have a washing machine many of us use a brass garden hose type wye with the individual ball valves like you use to attach two hoses to one faucet and install it on the cold water supply of the washing machine.

Both my refurb and was shocked when I got it. For the longest time I didn't see what was so "refurb" about it. Then one day I saw a small chip on my DI plastic holder. Lol guess that's what they were talking about. But the system is 100% worth every penny. Mines been up for the better part of 9 months with zero issues. Love it and wouldn't think twice about buying another.
