You can or use a drain saddle clamp.Ok, awesome. Do I just buy a 1/4" ro bung and drill a hole in the tube then thread it with some plumbers tape?
I haven't found one that'll fit a 3" or 4" pipe properly.You can or use a drain saddle clamp.
It looks like that has a 2" spigot. I was going to buy a 1/4 to 1/2 threaded male connector (pic). Do you know of a piece that can go from the 2" to the 1/2"?Add something like this on top with a short piece coming up and a saddle clamp on the short piece.

Awesome! I don't think this is pressurized since it's vented so I was hoping I could just use plumbers tape vs cement it in. I could always buy a cap and cement it if I need to close it up was my thoughts.Yep tap it and tape it or pvc glue it. Ive done this to pressurized rounded pvc and used pvc glue to melt the fitting into the tapped hole for a chemical feed loop at work. No leaks.
I agree, use a vertical section if possible. Gravity can be usefulAlternatively I could just tap the vertical pipe and add the connector, I think

Good observation, I'll go measure it soon and see what I'm dealing with. In general I'm not a fan of saddles as the leak over time and they make a hole anyways. So.. Maybe the tap is the best anywayThat pipe looks like 1 1/2 inch. This would work quickly

True, but there shouldn’t be much water going through there I think, so that wouldn’t be an issue. I have a vent tube from the ceiling that connects to my house’s main waste pipe. Took me 2 minutes to connect and I can add a small dollop of silicon and it will be sealed if I ever need to remove it. I put the whole towards the wall so it will never be noticed.Good observation, I'll go measure it soon and see what I'm dealing with. I plan to have my rodi, awc, and skimmer waste all going into this.True, but there shouldn’t be much water going through there I think, so that wouldn’t be an issue.
