I have a Waterbox 330.7 and want to install a RedSea RollerMat 1200 where the filter socks are now. I’ve seen others have it so I know can be done, but I just want some help with the logistics.

I cut the main down pipe and attached the intake hose. Even after attaching zip ties it leaks out the top when open the main gate more. Need to find a way to tighten it so it doesn't leak.

The other issue I have is physical placement of the rollermat itself. I forgot how big it is and because of the top part I cannot fully fit it in this chamber unless I have it turned “backwards” as seen in the picture. The only way I’d be able to change the roll now is to take the whole unit out like I had to do with the “drop in” unit I used previously, and that was half the reason I swapped. Anyone who has used the rollermat before have any suggestions? Is the 1200 just too big and I have to use the 500 or even the 250?

anyone else have any luck fitting one in?

Did you have to cut the filter sock holder out or did they slide out?
