rtparty’s NYOS 440

Before reefing, my hobby was computers. Built my first one when I was a teenager and have since built dozens of them for my friends and family. I decided to venture out and start selling builds locally.

The tank is doing great and just on cruise control for now. At least the computer building station is right in front of the tank. I get to combine both hobbies this way

wow you’re like a beautiful mind

Are those all fans? That thing probably uses more electricity than a fully stocked 180 sps tank

A reef tank is way more.

Under full load (which is extremely rare and almost impossible to do with normal usage) this computer doesn’t even pull 500w. I can only hit that load under stability tests and benchmarking to tax the whole system.

Some of today’s highest end graphic cards pull 600w or more but it’s not 24/7 like a reef tank

That's impressive growth man!

Thank you. However, this is probably the slowest tank I’ve ever had and after getting a pH probe, I see why.

Once I started dosing Not A Feesh 2 part, it’s amazing how quick the corals responded to the pH bump.
