Due to selling off my 75G reef tank to buy a Taylor guitar (see my avatar), I presently have only have a 24G nano. I built a stand to match it's size and put it at my desk height. This tank has been established about a year now and has good coraline growth on the rocks and back wall. All electrical and top-off equipment is in the stand below the tank to make for a clean, self-contained installation. Here are the details:

Equipment
24G Nano Cube (JBJ Lighting)
PC lighting (2x36W)
Maxijet 1200 return pump
Switchbox, lighted (to control lights, pump, top-off, and heater)
DIY Auto top-off
pH monitor
RTD temp sensor
50W heater
Custom stand (2x4 frame, oak trim, dark stain)

Occupants, Fish
Falco Hawkfish
Rainford's Gobie
Neon Gobie

Occupants, Coral (I am a little thin in this area)
Frogspawn (Green-tip)
Mushrooms (purple, red, green-stripe)
Palys
Button Polyps

Occupants, Other
A horde of 1" to 3" brittle starfish
Green stringy algae
Red stringy algae
A few snails (really need more)

Well, it's been almost 2 years since I posted this. Lights have gone to LED and the occupants have totally changed as you can see in these pics I just took.

Full size images can be seen at these links of the front, left, and right sides. Not exactly great photography, but you get the idea.

I also took some closeup pics of my clam, my duncan (no flash), my frogspawn, and my candy cane.

So things have grown and I am still in the hobby. :)

Thanks. The back wall was covered by coraline algae. So I just glued a few things to it an they took off. Have zoanthids, pink/green montipora, and mushrooms expanded on to the coraline now. Keep hoping the chalice will attach itself (as well as the acro frag I was just given). Best way to get something started there is to cut off a rock flat with a band saw and glue the flat part to the back.

Just your standard crushed coral -- and quite a few dead snail shells.
