This is what 2.2 dkh daily worth of bionic and kalkwasser on my tank looks like. I'm still dropping ruffly 18 to 21 ppm weekly witch is about 1.1 dkh. Been going on now for about 2 months so I figured I'll post some simple math for you guys that ask me for help on dosing. My alk today is 7.4, fresh saltwater is a about 11.5. 25% of a 4dkh difference is 1 dkh. Except I do a 15 percent water change witch should be an addition of .6 dkh. So I need to makeup an additional .5 dkh with dosing. Since I'm not at full evaporation with kalkwasser, and spend about 1,200 dollars in 2 part for the last 3 years. A good estimate to go by - for every 3,000 ml (fully saturated) for 100 gallon tank, will raise your alk 1 dkh. So I'll need to dose about 1,500 extra ml of kalkwasser weekly, divide that by 7 days is ruffle 215 ml daily. Very easy math with dosing, math will always be correct but reliant on a hobby grade test kit. All of this isn't exact math, all rounded off estimates

Also flexing my new wav pump if you can see it =) and I actually really like it. Was a choice between the nero 5, the wav, and the new gyre.

major flow upgrades, am also in the middle of bulb changing. Swapped out the jebao for the neptune wav, swapped my 1st generation maxspect 150 GYRE! so crazy that they never failed on me. Both pumps lasted upwards 3 years and are still pumping! They will be boxed away until the frag system goes up.

Any of you guys experience a chip on your aquarium? A scissor fell onto one of my deep blue frag tanks and put a hair chip on the glass. The glass did not crack whatsoever, and most of the chip is paint. Is this something to worry about? The water level doesn't reach this high in tank either
