Salifert Iodide test kit

I do it how it says to test, but I don't get any results ?
Water always stays clear, what's been others experience with this test kit ?

Why are you testing iodine?

Because I dose it. None of the salt mixtures give you enough iodine compared to what's 'needed' or 'suggested'.

Well from my understanding dosing iodine helps zoas and tissue of LPS, I have so thought I would dose it. After buying my iodine test kit from Salifert and not getting no results I was wondering if anyone knows why.

Do you dose Iodine ? Why/why not ?

When my test kit stays clear that means the iodine is to low . you might try putting a drop of iodine in a 1/2 gallon or gallon of saltwater and then retest .
