I've used salifert kits in the past but never the ammonia. With the cloudiness I was wondering what the ammonia might be at for ammonia
Nitrates at 10 right now just after my cycle. Did 2 50% wc

Also with this nitrate, they both seem different from the salifert tests before. Could it be a faulty test?

Are you looking through them with the white background?

The purpose of the large comparison sheet is so that you can look through the top and slide it over to the one that is closest to your shade.

There's also instructions to peer through the side and compare when the reading from the top is too light and then do some simple math.

I have but its the cloudiness for me. I think something may be wrong with the Nitrate as my lfs Hanna told me it was around 10
From here the ammonia looks low enough. The nitrate, I made a standard for mine and strangely the API was about right whilst Salifert was miles off (old eyes maybe), so couldn’t guess as to your reading.
I've had the issue of salifert tests just seeming wrong. This test specifically seemed to give me wildly different results

Definitely got a zero(ish) nitrite? Any small amount can mess with nitrate tests.
My cycle should have been complete as before at my lfs I showed no ammonia snd 50 nitrate. This is after multiple wc and now it looks like there might be ammonia (no idea where from) and leftover nitrate

@GHOSTLY

Do yourself a huge favor and STOP testing Ammonia and Nitrite!!!

You are showing Nitrate and that is proof enough that you tank has cycled. Banging your head against a wall worrying about a bit of free ammonia and nitrite is a waste of time. I personally haven't tested for either one in over 30 years and never had a tank miss even once.

Toss those 2 kits in the trash, and start getting excited... It;s time to move forward YAYYYYY FISH!!!!
