Is it better to run a little on the lower end of salinity for FOWLR? I’m thinking 1.018-1.022? Corals like it higher around 1.024-1.026 correct ?

With live rock and some inverts I wouldn’t run below 1.022. A pure fish only system can go much lower, but unless you are penny pinching salt or trying to control parasites, why?

The lowest I've heard someone keep the SG was at .018. Personally for fish only I'd do .021-.024

But, yes you are right with the numbers you posted.

Not penny pinching just curious on the numbers. If I was penny pinching I wouldn’t have just bought these kessils;)

Yeah I’ll probably try to stay 1.022 level. Thanks
