How do you guys control / clean up salt creep? My 125 gallon tank has some transverse braces on top that get salt buildup. When try to clean them, the salt crystals invariably get on the corals. I've had a couple of polyps on my pagoda cup close up for a few days after getting a mouthful of salt.

Not easy lol I have the same issue. I turn off pumps and allow water to lower, then float a plastic lid I use only for this, then use sponge I've got wet by ro/di water and slowly wipe, stopping from time to time to empty lid.

It's a pita, I like how my top is sometimes due to my eel, but then don't when that needs to be cleaned.
