Help, I know issues . Treating tank since 6/17/24 blue hippo tang with ice. Whole tank treated ,don't have extra tank. Today foxfire rabbit fish covered also . Ich-x is what I'm using ,20% water changes everyday prior to treatment as on .med bottle. Please help!

ICHX is nothing more than a tonic and rarely if ever works. Im sure when you said ice- you meant ich. Treat in separate tank using coppersafe at treatment level 2.25 monitored with a reliable copper kit such as Hanna brand for a full 30 days , and treat any other fish in tank as they too have been exposed to this parasite. Add aeration also during treatment
Leave the current display tank without any fish for 6-8 weeks to allow cysts to die off without a host fish.
A treatment tank can be as simple as a starter tank kit from walmart or a second hand store

Welcome to R2R! Please follow @vetteguy53081's advice. You need to treat in a separate tank. Go to any petstore like Petco or Petsmart and get a 10 gallon starter tank set. They are inexpensive and fairly small. I usually use a TopFin (Petsmart brand) 5.5 gallon starter (I have mainly smaller fish) for most treatment as it has a lid as well which is useful to avoid jumping losses. 10 gallon can be used for anything but really large fish. When the treatment regimen is done you can easily drain it and store it until you need to quarantine or treat again.

I don't know of any display-tank-safe medication for any of the common fish illness that is truly effective.
