saltyhog's DSA 155 mixed reef

And the mount is from their old vega? (Sorry I think you already told me lol) trying to get rid of the horrible HMS mounts

I made it out of two of their stand mounts and two of the old 18" rails. Thinking of changing the rails out with a single HMS rail so I could tilt the lights a little away from the front glass.

These two guys have completed copper and about 10 days in one of my cycled QT's. Thanks @Daniel@R2R, @mta_morrow and @SPR1968 for getting me interested in a trigger!

Bummer.....I click the play button and get nothing. I’m doing this from my iPhone.

Video of the tank from today. Recovery is a lot slower than I would like but I'm seeing progress every day.

Beautiful! Very nice indeed!

I think I will grab a 6 pack of Blue Moon Mango on my way home from work and have one to honor your tank!

8-Line with the Blue Throat??

Yes sir, probably my last flasher addition but we'll see. You know how I love red tails!

I have no idea what that is but it sounds delicious!

Very nice tank & thread, has your Corraline algae fused your aquascape together yet, looks good. How’s your parrot doing?

In places it certainly has. Unfortunately the Quoyi did what a lot of them seem to do. Ate well and did great for about 6 months then started eating less and less. Finally passed away. I don't think I'll try another one, just too much competition for a deliberate feeder with all the wrasses.

Sorry to hear that, they do tend to be slow, deliberate feeders. I had a bicolor parrot in my mixed fish tank, he did very well, got him to start its subadult color change, then, because I was stupid, gave him to a friend. Should’ve kept him

Beautiful blue throat! I’m happy for you!

I am enjoying mine so much that I may trade in my Foxface and get a female blue throat.

They make for a beautiful couple in a tank

no doubt. There was a striking yellowfin on DD this week.

I have special little lady in the hopper.
