Any room in the new shed?
Room in the double secret renovation I'm planning... if my wife ever got a lobotomy; otherwise not sure I'd get permission.
**too far off?**

It is easier to ask forgiveness than permission...
oh bet your wrasse I was asking forgiveness when she got home and saw it this afternoon! hehe. I really had no idea it would be that huge; I thought I'd find a spot for it... lol this thing is a hoss.
I can probably trade it for corals. but to be honest, if I cant have it in my build, I have a pal that may want me to help him buildout his basement sump-room and it'd be sweet in that build.

So, I may have made a dumb purchase... Its not that it was a bad idea... just that it doesn't fit in my low-ceilinged basement...

Here I am washing it out... just before I broke-out the pressure washer...

135Gallon water storage container.
I may have someone who will take it locally for what I paid.
You able to have it laying down?

@tbrown3589 knows this well too.

Neato!!!! Job job Sam.
Thanks! I thought 'why isn't there an easier way todo it' while talking with @PeterC99
I bet I could even make them for nano skimmers on tanks like yours!
Its working so much better then my other setup similar to the conventional one...
Skimmer wasn't powerful enough to pull through all that tube before.
My Tank's Ph is finally where I thought it would be with the more conventional CO2 scrubber!

How often do you have to refill yours?

It'll be plumbed into my main system. will tie it into the exile tank's drain. its all 1" so it'll be fine. I was going to take down the exile tank but I may as well leave it for the dragon wrasse and hopefully a breeding pair of cardinals.

Although the MKI Kalk stirrer I made works great, The lack of a 'window' *ahem* makes it tough to see when to add more kalk. This is the MKII - I found a 6" clear PVC tube that seems ok. Its kind of frosted but its nice that its PVC instead of acrylic. Nonetheless, This model is a little more svelte. It has a smaller 90 degree auger style motor and drive train. same timer. The bottom has 3 cnc-cut PVC discs that are glued into the tube before the bottom cap is applied to make sure there are no leaks.
I'll probably make this version available on ParlAquatics.

The three augers are glued into the tube? Or glued into place on the shaft? I assume they rotate.
