Anyone have any idea on what i could do to save this guy? He seems to be doing fine, however continues to very slowly shrink in size as the algae creeps up the dead skeleton. Also if anyone could id him that would be cool, i dont know the name exactly so i didnt even try writing it in the title cus i didnt wanna sound stupid

Thanks

ok .. slowly shrinking is not doing fine. For an LPS to slowly shrink that tells me it has most likely been starving for a long while as it gets smaller and smaller.

Really need to know more details on how long you have had it, what par level, tank parameters etc.
My guess would be some sort of lobophylla maybe? so fairly low light and moderate flow. Likes nutrients and/or catch food a couple times a week. Without many more details it is hard to know where the issue/issues lie.
