My orange blast isn't as orange as my tasty taffy. Not the best pic but I don't feel like cutting off 7 pumps

Yeah, it's always nice and hairy! I'm actually surprised because I changed all my flow up. Since I got the two new Jabeo gyre's in, one 70 and a 90. I put them on crossflow, almost fastest setting, but 2 for speed on the 90 and 4 on the 70. So, they each pulse at 'random' facing each other from each side of the tank (36" tank) My PE has been better since I turned the flow a little lower and set it to pulsing on each.

I was always having the wavemakers running full time at a higher speed. I had PE, but never as good as it is now. I've convinced myself it's not necessarily high flow, but more chaotic flow is more important than the flow rate. At least for my tank it's working, so I'll continue to watch and see.

Nice! Yeah a good and heavy random flow is great. I do like the fact that gyres push a sheet of water rather than a barrel. I hate not being able to put my 4ks on the sides of my tank due to the tank. Any areas of random chaos tends to do well for the stickies
