Yeah almost everyone ends up ripping them out. Same with GSP although i think that can be nice on your back glass

anyone else struggle with phosphates? Every single one of my parameters is rock solid and has been for years (8.5 alk, 550 calc, 1300 mag, 8.3-8.4 pH, 8NO3) but i cant for the life of my keep my phosphates down despite my nitrates being fine. I go through about a gallon of GFO every 1.5 weeks, sock changes every other day. If i miss a day or two on my GFO i got from .1 to 1 practically overnight. Seriously cant figure it out. Tank volume is 550g, have an appropriately sized skimmer, feed about 2 cubes and 8 silver slides a day

Not crazy strong but can take a little bump or two. Certainly has no problem holding the frags steady and I like the ability to position it to fit. Doesn’t show in pic cause it didn’t use em but it comes with two extension rods for the frag plates for greater vertical

Over feeding most likely. You should look into the American reef hpd that is what we use. You want to Try and get to the point where you don't use gfo
