Alright thanks, too bad nobody in the stores seems to know or care.. That's not just 60 bucks wasted, but people might actually start dosing based on the results.. Sending out some emails, hope it's just unknown and not a money grabbing thing. My expectation is that Hanna made and markets it...

@SBB Corals That’s awesome thanks! I like to test the salinity of your water as a reference to see if mine is actually what I think it is. The last couple sales I tested your water I got 1.024. Maybe my solution or refractometer is bad. Are you pretty confident in the 1.026?

Yes we calibrate ours all the time we calibrate it almost weekly so I hope it's correct but maybe it's not ... when is the last time you calibrated yours ?
