One more order with the cristata torch and purple torch and all the frags for the new tank have arrived.

The warpaint scoly from aqua SD is by far my favorite. I'll grab a better pic when I can.

Quick update, was short a few plumbing parts to finish up getting the tank ready, they are supposed to arrive Friday now.

Stopped at RAP NY today and picked up the Apex I still needed to grab and I happened to win a GHL 2.1 in the raffle so it was a good visit.

48" aquatic life hybrid gets delivered this week and I can finally sort out the light mounts on the back of the stand and get some water in it to start cycling. Can't add anymore weight to the tank and still be able to slide it out before I get the extension kit mounted on the back. Going to be running the fixture with two 360x's. Can i get some suggestions for t5 bulb combos to go along with the kessils?

While I'm working on the plumbing, here's a few shots of the RODI set up and the plumbed overflows.

Return line plumbed, I'll get the reactor done after work and I can finish filling up the tank to test for leaks.

Carbon reactor is in, calling the plumbing finished pending a leak check. Have about 90 gallons in the tank right now, bulkheads are water tight. Have 50 gallons of RODI made ready to fill up the sump tomorrow when I get home from work. If everything holds I'll get the two gyres in on either side of the overflow box and run it for a couple of days before adding salt.

Rock and sand are already in, going to pull a few rocks out of the 170 and into the new sump to help with the cycle this weekend.

Still need one of the kessils over the other tank right now with the mounting arm so the new tank is going to run with 1 360 while it cycles. Going to move a few of the fish in tomorrow. When the cycle is finished I'll pull the other arm off, get both mounted into the hybrid fixture and get everything situated in the new DT all at once.

Stand is finished. Planning to drill a 2" hole on the right hand side to run a piece of pvc from the stand into one of the cabinets in the wall unit to the right of the tank. I will route all of the dosing tubes and wires through that to keep everything off of the floor and dry.

Tank is looking great! But mind if I ask how much that lid was? looking to get one for my tank.

A little under $400 I believe. Took a little while from the time I placed the order to when it got made because they had a backlog and I also asked for a lid for the reefer 170 originally. Had them put that on hold until the SCA got delivered and the safetop guys were accommodating enough to change up the design for me. Don't remember the exact cost.

New skimmer is in, refugium set up and the copepods and amphipods went in today. Bought a skimmer from someone on the forums and it arrived cracked in half. Was in a rush for another one and found a b10 online for at clearance price and grabbed it. Way bigger than this tank needs but it's going to be a work horse in here. Shouldn't need to run it 24 hours a day, I'll experiment and see what works best.

Added a powder blue tang, a powder brown tang, 2 black lightning clowns and a crescent tail fairy wrasse to the display. Will start moving the corals and fish out of the 170 this weekend as parameters are now stable and everything is looking good. Going to leave the cuc in the 170 for the time being until the tank isn't so clean. The tangs are doing too good of a job at controlling whatever algae has popped up so far.

Will grab the remaining kessil 360 and stick it in the hybrid fixture this weekend to get it mounted. It's still in use on the 170. The cuc will have to go in the sump on the smaller tank when that happens but the 100g will need the other lights running very soon.
