Schnitzel's SPS

You have bubble algae just like me. I don't feel so bad now. Beautiful tank as usual.
Not sure why people getting so crazy if they do see bubble algae in their tanks.

As long they been kept in check, you are good!

Tank is on cruise control. Feed fish and watch corals grow. I love it. Haven’t done a water change in months, been lazy

Your tank is just stunning! Growth looks phenomenal over the past two years!

If you had to pick a top three favorite sps corals that you own. What would they be?

Yep. 2+ years with T5s, that’s when the growth started.

Top 3 is really hard. These are among my favorites.
Orange passion
Sapphire milli
PC Superman
Good growers and awesome color

I agree with you on the orange passion and Pc Superman. I have those and they are amazing corals. I don’t think I’ve seen the sapphire milli. Do you have a pic?

It honestly looks way better in person. The blue and white contrast is really awesome. Everyone that comes to my house to buy corals, always asks for a frag. The trend is these rainbow tenius, but i prefer acros that have nice colors and unique growth patterns.

Install T5s, hook up calcium reactor, install lots of power heads, watch the coral grow. I honestly don’t do anything special. Occasionally I dose Pohls Xtra Special, but I only do that when I get lazy with water changes. If I do regular water changes, like one every 2-4 weeks, I don’t dose anything.

Is it a lot different than the palmers blue milli in person?

I believe people get them mixed up often. I don’t have a palmers in my tank, but the ones I have seen don’t look as nice as the sapphire. Not sure if the palmers has the same white polyps. To be honest I’m not a pro at identifying all the different acros and names.
