Hey my scopes tang just finished his 30 days copper power QT 2.3-25 ppm checked with Hannah. The last few days b4 QT finished I noticed he’s looking off. He was actually supposed to finish 30 days today but I did a 100% water change 3 days ago. The Qt tank cycled before placing him in.
He’s eating perfectly fine but he’s very pale and those dark spots are worrying me

I think you should follow up the copper with a praziquantel treatment for flukes....

He’s swimming into the flow of the HOB filter in the QT

Should I dose general cure or prazi pro?

Should I dose general cure or prazi pro?

I prefer General Cure, but it is not reef safe (don't use it with invertebrates). Use Prazipro with good aeration if you have inverts in the tank.

The fish is in a 10 gallon QT. I have both general cure and prazipro

That's a very small tank to try and treat that fish in - keep a close eye on the ammonia levels and watch for snout bruising!

Ive seen this often and points to bacterial especially if ammonia has risen or you are getting false ammonia tests. Swimming in the flow is a sign of irritants whether flukes or velvet. If velvet which I am discounting, you would see fish scratching body against hard objects, lethargic behavior, Loss of appetite and weight loss, Rapid, labored breathing, Fins clamped against the body, and typically stay at the surface of the water, or remain in a position where a steady flow of water is present in the aquarium.
Ich always shows spots at first.
With flukes, similar , but breathing heavy, hiding, sudden darting and no appetite
