Scratch on the glass!!!!!

Thank God it's not starphire!

ANYWAY Something got onto my Piranha magnet and scratched a tank I don't even have anything in yet. Now I highly doubt there is anything to fix it, but is there without dumping all my water out?
Or even draining it down to the scratch to buff or something? IDK :(
So upset >_<

Me too. The only glass cleaners I found where more expensive than the tank.

Dang I know this stinks! I dropped a frag off of a frag rack and got a huge scratch on the right side starphire pane on my tank! :( It just barely slid down it.

sorry man you wont notice it in a few weeks, only when your in your face coral gazing...

how deep is the scratch? if you run your fingernail across it and it catches its stayin there. if its lite you can buy some cerium oxide and a polishing wheel and polish it out. you would need to empy the tank though

Yea this sucks...Ive just ended up dealing with mine. Gotta be careful with your magfloats and the such...Ive done the gravel trick probably 5 times now. Worst part of it is, I basically did the whole tank once with a piece of gravel in there and didnt notice...if you keep the glass really clean though, and dont let algae get in there sometimes they are hard to notice. Again, it depends on the size of the scratch

Yeah the scratch isn't that deep and it's kind of hard to notice, but algae usually builds up in them pretty bad. Hoping with my spectrum of lighting I don't have to worry about it too often.
