Scratches on glass

Looks like they came from the Mag Float... Could be salt residue that spread when using the mag float. Does a damp towel get rid of them or are they actual scratches?
I can't see from the photo sorry can you get one with white light and or a angled view
What are these splotches on the glass? Any ideas?
